What is Policy Review?
Policy review involves understanding about the status of the health care services besides demographic and health related information about the community and the place where community monitoring is to be done. Policy review basically provides a background understanding of what the health entitlements of the citizens are along with providing an understanding on what comprises the health system, human resources and infrastructure of health, health insurance provisions, allocation to health in the budget, besides providing information on role of civic body (Municipality) and local governments in provision of health. In this segment we undertake a view of the gaps in policy and entitlements.
