Building Block three explained:

• The health mapping exercise is carried out to provide an understanding on the broad layout of the village/ neighbourhood so that the spatial issues related to access of health and related services can be understood. 
  

• The map gives an idea, about which area is isolated, which area is closer or farther from the health facility etc.
• The types of health services available in the village Different service providers ad types of services available in the village.
• Information on mode of transport availed to reach health facility, the deliveries/pregnancies  in the village.
• Types of diseases people in village are suffering Number of people hospitalized etc. 
• Also it provided an overview on what health, sanitation, water and other related services are available in the village.
• And what more services are required to fill in the gap.
