Community Monitoring in Health Resources for the Practitioner

The section outlined the importance of mapping of skills and roles of community mobilisers/moderators which are required for community monitoring.
It suggested that the skills and roles are helpful in deciding the type of trainings and inputs required by the team of community mobilisers over a period of time as it enables to chart out a road map for the team.
The section also suggested that the community mobiliser should be equipped with multifarious skills including that for coordination, leadership, mobilizing, conducting interviews and discussions, documentation facilitation besides other skills.
The section also deliberated upon the need of training of community mobilizers for their capacity building on community monitoring besides enhancing their theoretical understanding of health rights, social exclusion and other health related issues and concerns.
